Prabhat Kumar is a retired civil servant. An Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1963 batch, he served as the Cabinet Secretary between 1998 and 2000. Upon creation of the State of Jharkhand in November 2000, he was made the first governor. Kumar was born and brought up in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. An Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1963 batch and Uttar Pradesh cadre, Kumar served as secretary to the Ministry of Textiles before his appointment as the cabinet secretary. Ashwani Lohani, is a retired officer of Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers. He has earlier worked as the Chairman & Managing Director of Air India and the former Chairman of the Railway Board of Indian Railways. After being retired from Government service on 23 July 2020 he joined GMR Group where He is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer.
He was also the first Chairman of International Coal Ventures Limited (ICVL) – a JV of five leading PSUs viz. SAIL, CIL, RINL, NMDC & NTPC. He was a member of various Apex Chambers – Chairman of ‘Steel Committee’ of FICCI, member of National Council of CII and Advisory Council of ASSOCHAM. Mr. Roongta was also President of Institute for Steel Development & Growth.He is presently Mentor of Nonferrous metal committee of FICCI.

Earlier he worked as Joint Secretary Power, Director Energy Management Centre (now BEE) and Director/Joint Secretary Atomic Energy, Government of India, Principal Secretary Power, Irrigation and Public Works Departments, Government of Haryana. He is an alumnus of St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi in Physics, and Law Faculty, Delhi University. Mukun Behari Kaushal former Secretary Internal Security, Govt of India is a retired IPS officer of 1962 batch of AGMUT cadre. Mukund Behari Kaushal says he attended three schools in his life—government schools in places like Bareilly, Kanpur, Haridwar and Etawah and schools called ‘family’ and ‘police department’. Sushil Kumar ROongta is the former Chairman of Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL)(Aug 2006-May2010). SAIL is one of India’s largest public sector companies. He is an alumnus of BITS Pilani and Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT).

Under Mr. Roongta’s leadership, SAIL achieved new landmarks in physical and financial performance. Operating at 115% of its rated capacity, it had posted a PBT of over Rs. 9,400 crores in FY’09 and emerged with second highest net profit amongst all steel producers of the world.
Prof. (Dr.) Arup Roy Choudhury (born 29th Dec 1956) is a Technocrat. He worked as the Chairman & MD of NBCC (National Building Construction Corporation), a Navaratna Central Public Sector Company from 3rd April 2001 to 31st August 2010 and as Chairman and MD of NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation) a Maharatna Central Public Sector Company from 1st September 2010 till 31st August 2015. He also held as additional charge of Chairman DVC (Damodar Valley Corporation) a Company owned by Govt. of India, Govt. of West Bengal and Govt. of Jharkhand. From 6th October 2015 till 15th Dec 2020, he worked with the Govt. of West Bengal initially as the Chief Commissioner West Bengal Right to Public Service Commission and thereafter as the Principal Advisor Infrastructure to the West Bengal Cabinet. Since 28th Jan 2021 he has joined as Professor of Practice with the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Prof. Choudhury holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Post-graduation in Management & Systems. He has a Ph. D from IIT Delhi in Project Management, with a special emphasis is to Dispute Resolution. He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers India and has been registered as Professional Engineer (PE) by the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He a qualified Lead assessor of ISO 9000 and has been personally responsible for getting organizations qualified and certified under ISO 9000 and conducted several Systems and Quality audits. He has successfully completed an Advance Management Programme from Clare College University of Westminster London.
Dr. R.K. Tyagi has done Ph.D (Doctorate in Management Studies) from Agra University, U.P.. He did B.Engg. (Electronics & Communication) from IIT, Roorkee, MBA(Marketing) from IGNOU, New Delhi, and Advanced Leadership Course from Indian School of Business (I.S.B.), Hyderabad. He has about 42 years of experience including 8 years of leading the boards/organisations. He served as Chairman of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (a Navratna company) from March 2012 to Jan 2015, as Chairman and Managing Director of Pawan Hans Helicopters Ltd. (a Mini Navratna company) from May 2007 to Mar 2012. He served ONGC in various fields like IT Networks, Setcom, Infocom, Marketing and rose to the position of Head Marketing and Head Air Logistics (from April, 1976 to May 2007). Dr. P.S. Rana received his Bachelor’s Degree in CivJil Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1970. He obtained his P.G. Diploma in Town and Country Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi in 1972 and his Ph.D. (Transport Engg. & Management) from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K. in 1983.
Dr. Rana is presently Chairman & Managing Director of Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO).
Dr. Rana has been actively involved in the field of Housing and Urban Infrastructure and has been instrumental in diversification of HUDCO portfolio, notably, Joint Ventures, Consultancy Services etc. He has been a pioneer in propagating the concept of regional development through corridor planning and also a supporter of the concept of PURA. Dr. Rana has also been President, Indian Building Congress, Chairman CII National Committee on Disaster Management and many more.
Dr. Rana has taken keen interest in the growth of his Alma Mater. He has been responsible for the setting up of “National Resource Facility on Bamboo Technology” at IIT Delhi. He has also helped in the setting up of HUDCO Chair Professorship on Bamboo Technology.
